5. Art and Craft Holidays
Art and Craft Holidays is run by Sally Charlesworth, who discovered an incredible wealth of artisan skills within Speyside and the surrounding Highlands of Scotland, upon her move from Somerset to the Scottish Highlands in 2009.
Being an artist herself and provider of art workshops to children and adults, she formed Art and Craft Holidays to highlight the many opportunities for local people and holiday guests who would like to either try something new or advance their creative art and craft skills, whilst meeting new people, sharing creative experiences and most of all having fun.
Sally has personally met all of the artists featured and is happy to talk to you about each one, their studio and indeed their style, so that you can be confident of choosing an art or craft workshop that is just right for you.
Loch Park Adventure Centre
Loch Park was created in the Victorian period as a beauty spot for visitors to nearby Drummuir Castle. Set in the malt whisky trail between Keith and Dufftown in the picturesque Strathisla Valley, Loch Park provides excellent facilities for anyone interested in outdoor pursuits.
